Cotton takes a hit for the second year

It’s taken a while to assess the cotton crop in the mid-Atlantic following Hurricane Matthew, and for many producers it’s the second year in a row of significant crop loss.  Mike Quinn, President and CEO of Cotton Growers Cooperative:
“When we compare last year to this year, last year it started raining in October, and rained, seemed like, until January, just continually week after week after week."
