City prepping for at least 2 more months of drought

This week’s rain has offered temporary relief for Hendersonville’s water shortage, but the city is still prepping for drought conditions that could last into early 2017. Based on forecasts from the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, the city is anticipating drought conditions could last until at least the end of January.
