In the last four months, Cypress Creek Renewables has registered more than $1.8 billion worth of North Carolin solar projects it expects to build from 2017 through 2020. Since Aug. 1, the California-based solar developer and builder has asked the N.C. Utilities Commission for certificates to build 15 utility scale projects ranging in size from five megawatts to 80 megawatts.
