US Rep. Walter Jones: Fighting Obama's regulatory overreach

TOn November 8, I joined 87 other Republican members of Congress in filing an amicus brief calling for the Obama administration’s destructive Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule to be struck down. Plain and simple, this rule is bad for private land owners and farmers in not only Eastern North Carolina, but across the entire nation. Additionally, I joined many of my colleagues in sending a letter to House leadership, insisting that no taxpayer funding for WOTUS be implemented in the coming year. I have been a long-time opponent of the administration’s WOTUS rule, and have continued to vote for legislation overturning it.
