Some areas of North Carolina seeing improvement in drought conditions

In the latest drought monitor from the Drought Mitigation Center for conditions through Tuesday morning, North Carolinas abnormally dry conditions increased slightly from the previous week from 51.89 to 52.07%.  The area of the state in moderate drought also increased from 32.61 to 33.33%.
