McCrory appoints judge for Lincoln, Cleveland counties who works at House Speaker’s law firm

Gov. Pat McCrory on Tuesday appointed Justin Brackett as a district court judge for Lincoln and Cleveland counties.
The appointment is good for four years. Brackett narrowly lost a district court race last month to Meredith Shuford.
