New cold storage facility opens in the Port City

More jobs are on their way to Wilmington because of a new storage facility at the port. Officials say the cold storage warehouse could eventually create more than 80 jobs and said it is the only facility of its kind in the entire state. With more than 100,000 square feet of space, there’s enough room for about 20 million pounds of frozen food and that number could grow in the coming years.
