TOur nation's tax code is fundamentally broken. It is far too complicated and only benefits those wealthy individuals who can afford professional help to guide them through the maze of deductions and tax credits. Fortunately, House Republicans have a better way. This summer we laid out our principles for making the tax code more simple and more fair for all Americans. As the new Congress begins in January, Congressional Republicans working closely with the incoming Trump Administration will begin work on fixing our broken tax code.
