The top leader for North Carolina House Democrats in 2017 says he'll work to ease the divisive tone at the General Assembly by improving relations with Republicans. House Democrats on Monday chose Rep. Darren Jackson of Raleigh as minority leader. Jackson is an attorney who entered the House in 2009.
