President-elect Donald Trump is considering former FSIS boss Elsa Murano for the agriculture secretary post, according to multiple media reports.

Murano, who served as food safety undersecretary in the George W. Bush administration, reportedly joins fellow Texans Susan Combs, a former state comptroller, and state Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller on Trump’s list for ag secretary.

Currently a professor at Texas A&M University in its department of nutrition and food science, Murano served as the school’s president for a short stint between 2008 and 2009.
