Cotton production on December 1, 2016 is estimated at 360,000 480-pound bales, down 32% from the 527,000 480-pound bales produced in 2015.
CHICKEN EGGS
South Atlantic Region: : Broiler-Type eggs in incubators on November 1, 2016 totaled 243,469,000. The total was up 3% from the November 1, 2015 total of 236,225,000 eggs. The total number of Egg-Type eggs in incubators on November 1, 2016 increased 1% from 4,596,000 eggs in 2015 to 4,629,000 in 2016.
