Ken Edgar walked slowly down rows of colorful, mismatched box-type structures, leaning over and gently feeling the weight of each one so as not to disturb the boxes’ inhabitants. Lifting one of the box lids slowly, Ken smiled as he was greeted by a small group of sleepy honeybees, huddled near an opening in the top, testing the outside air.
