What FSIS will charge in 2017 for inspection services

USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the 2017 rates it will charge meat and poultry establishments, egg products plants, and importers and exporters for providing voluntary, overtime, and holiday inspection and identification, certification, and laboratory services.


FSIS will charge the rates announced in this notice beginning Feb. 5, 2017.
On a per hour, per employee basis, FSIS will charge for inspection services $55.84 for basetime, $70.28 for overtime, $84.72 for holidays and $71.72 for laboratory services.
