2017 NC Pork Conference

The 2017 NC Pork Conference will be held on Wednesday, February 1st and Thursday, February 2nd, at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley.
Please note that there are two significant changes for the 2017 Pork Conference. We will be replacing the former Thurs/Fri schedule with a Wed/Thurs schedule and we will be holding ALL conference events at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley.


Wednesday, February 1st
5:30pm, Bacon Bash - NCPC Members' Only Event 


Thursday, February 2nd (Tentative Schedule)
7:30am, Registration and Continental Breakfast
8:30am - 12:30pm, Educational Sessions, including:
Drones & Farming: How drones are being used for good - and evil - and what can we do about it?
Trade & Exports: Who around the world is eating NC pork and how are they eating it?


Ask Your Regulator: Ever have a question you are afraid to ask? Here's your chance to ask it anonymously and get immediate feedback. 


The Carbon Market: What is it and how can I get paid to participate?


12:30 - 2:00pm, NCPC Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon (Hall of Fame, Outstanding Pork Producer and Pork All-American Awards). Lunch remarks will be offered by NC's newly-elected State Treasurer Dale Folwell. 


During lunch we will also have our annual meeting to update NCPC members on activities and events from 2016, along with financials and reports from national organizations.
