Henderson County, which ranks in the top three counties in North Carolina for tomato and sweet corn production, now has a full-time commercial vegetable and small-fruit Cooperative Extension agent. Karen Blaedow started with the Henderson County Extension office on Dec. 1, and said the work has been great so far.
