Hog futures drop as production ramps up

The cattle market ended Friday’s session mixed as demand optimism was offset by profit-taking following a four-week rally.
February live-cattle futures dropped 25 to $114, April live-cattle rose 5 to $114, and Feeder-cattle for January rose 7 to $128.
Hog futures ended the session lower in most contracts.
