Greensboro-based yarn maker Unifi Inc. said it has begun making, selling and distributing its Repreve recycled fiber in Vietnam with the support of a licensed manufacturer based in Ho Chi Minh City. The partnership between Unifi (NYSE: UFI) and Century Synthetic Fiber Corp. is part of an ongoing strategy by the local company to expand the recycled yarn abroad to countries including Turkey, Taiwan and Sri Lanka.
