Dry conditions increase slightly in North Carolina

In the latest drought monitor released by the Drought Mitigation Center on Thursday for conditions through Tuesday morning, North Carolina’s abnormally dry conditions have increased slightly from just over 70% last week to 71.36 this week.  The area of moderate drought has increased from 12.43% to 16.51%, and the area of severe drought has increased from just under 3%...
