The temptation is strong to get the planter out and get the season started, but NC State Extension Corn Specialist, Dr. Ron Heiniger says… “My answer to that is 'just hold your britches!’.  You know, they’re exactly right, it’s very tempting, these days are almost ideal temperature, very consistent temperatures, the kind of things that you want when you plant corn."
