Senate Ag committee vote on Perdue pushed to Thursday

Because of the Senate schedule, the Agriculture Committee delayed by one day a vote on President Trump’s nominee for agriculture secretary, former Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue. The committee had planned to gather off the Senate floor Wednesday to consider the nomination when senators came to the chamber for a vote on another matter, but no floor vote occurred on Wednesday. The vote is now set for Thursday.
