Skylar was serene. Coco swung her head a bit at first, but eventually calmed down. Frizzle performed fantastically. And Mooana was simply not in the mood. The cows — all of them young and female — hoofed and mooed their way through the Greensboro District Junior Dairy Show Thursday, each led around the barn by a child or teenage handler during the two-day competition’s showmanship event.
