The On-Farm Infrastructure Toolkit, developed in partnership with the Center for Environmental Farming Systems’ NC Growing Together project, provides small-scale specialty growers with designs and guidance for building structures for post-harvest cooling and washing, curing, and cold storage. This infrastructure is essential for small-scale growers wishing to access larger markets and increasing the shelf life of highly perishable crops.
