Agriculture needs more engineering students working for it

Just 1 percent of the roughly 700,000 students enrolled in undergraduate college engineering programs across the country last year studied agricultural engineering. That’s a challenge for agriculture. “Last year, 6,000 or 7,000 students were studying agricultural engineering as their undergraduate degree program."
