Farming takes a lot of hard work – but it can be even more challenging when battling cancer.  Meet a farmer who was diagnosed with cancer, but fought through it and continued to work every day on his farm as he went through his treatments. “Cancer is not going to beat me, I’m going to beat it, and that’s how we approach every day.”  That’s Tom Nugent, who farms in southern Indiana. It was six years ago that Tom found out he had throat cancer even though he had never smoked.
