Gov. Beverly Perdue has appointed Charles “Winston” Gilchrist of Lillington to the 11th Judicial District Court Bench and Keith O'Brien Gregory to the District Court bench for the 10th Judicial District. Gilchrist is a member of the firm Morgan and Gilchrist in Lillington. He specializes in criminal and civil litigation matters. The 11th Judicial District covers Harnett, Johnston and Lee Counties. The seat was created by lawmakers in 2008. Gregory is a senior partner in the law firm of Gregory and McClinton, PLLC in Raleigh. The 10th Judicial District covers Wake County.
