N.C. House appoints members to negotiate coal ash deal

The N.C. House leadership appointed four representatives today to negotiate a compromise on coal ash.
The House and Senate passed different versions of a bill that will close the state's toxic coal ash ponds in the wake of a February spill in Rockingham County. A conference committee will develop a bill both houses can support.
