Imperial Tobacco Group, the British tobacco maker that is planning to take over Lorillard's facilities and its 2,900-person work force, said Wednesday that it has selected Greensboro as the headquarters location for a new company it is forming in anticipation of the $27.4 billion Reynolds American/Lorillard Inc. merger.
