Mary:  This is Mary Walden with economist MW, welcoming you to the economic perspective.   Today’s program looks at tax triggers.  Mike, one of the tasks that state legislators all around the country do is adjust their tax systems.  A relatively new technique used in these adjustments – including in North Carolina – is the application of tax triggers.
