The NCVMA budgeted $125,000 to be distributed over a five year period to qualified organizations to promote community service as well as compassion and health for the people and animals of North Carolina. The $125,000 budget will support up to 5 grants of $5000 per year and over a five year period 2011 – 2015. If 5 applications are not approved in a budget year, the balance of the yearly distribution will be added to the next year’s grant budget.
