Third EEE Case in NC for 2017 Confirmed

The NC Department of Agriculture received a laboratory report confirming the third positive case of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) for 2017 in a 5-year old, owner vaccinated, miniature horse located in Sampson County, North Carolina.
