Governor Sonny Perdue and State School Superintendent Kathy Cox visited Oglethorpe County High Tuesday morning to personally deliver the Governor's Cup awarded to Oglethorpe County High for achieving the highest average improvement on the Scholastic Assessment Test over a three-year period. Only four other similarly sized schools have received this award since it's inception in 2004. Our hats are off to Oglethorpe County High for this great honor!
