The Georgia Department of Education will offer required Teacher
Keys and Leader Keys Effectiveness Systems training for individuals seeking the
initial training and credentialing. The Leader Keys Effectiveness
System (LKES) consists of multiple components, including the
Leader Assessment on Performance Standards (LAPS), Climate Surveys,
and measures of Student Growth and Achievement Gap Reduction. The
overarching goal of LKES is to support continuous growth and development of
