| Oconee RESA announces a
collaboration opportunity with Heart of GA RESA. This workshop will focus
on U.S. History. Shaun Owen, State Program Manager for Social Studies at
the Georgia Department of Education, will discuss what an outstanding, engaging,
literacy integrated, standards-based classroom should look like while engaging
participants in brief model lessons. This will be a collaborative session
which will include teachers from numerous districts collaborating on quality
lesson plan development. Title: Social Studies
