Oconee RESA announces the following opportunity:  Modeling With Algebra Tiles In The Middle and High School Math Classroom.  Participants will explore using Algebra Tiles to guide their students to a better conceptual understanding of the basic operations with integers and polynomials, substitution, solving linear equations, visualizing the distributive property, and factoring trinomials. Research-based teaching strategies will be used during the activities.
