| 2015-2016 Oconee RESA Substitute Training Schedule To work as a substitute teacher in a school district, candidates
will need to register to attend the Substitute Teacher Training at www.oconeeresa.org . Upon completion, candidates
will be eligible to substitute teach in Baldwin, Hancock, Johnson, Putnam,
Washington, and Wilkinson counties. Next, candidates will need to contact the local school district where
you wish to work and obtain an application for employment. Details
regarding local requirements are available at each county’s board of education.
If you wish to substitute
in a district other than the counties listed above, please verify with the
school district that Oconee RESA’s training will be accepted before you
register to take the training.
