Oconee RESA and the Baldwin County Board of Education will host Gail Humble, the Georgia Department of Education Gifted Program Specialist, for one of the Fall Gifted Regional Meetings. The agenda will include a review of the Georgia Department of Education Gifted Guidelines and FTE information.  In addition, systems will have the opportunity to share how they are implementing the Gifted Program if they have made changes due to Strategic Waiver or Charter Status.  We will continue our discussion of identification and talent development and start a discussion about developing creativity.  You may have other interesting initiatives or ideas you have been working with as a district or that have been successful in individual schools that you could share with us.
