Oconee RESA is offering Formative Instructional Practices (FIP) Professional Learning Communities Story Date: 2/23/2017
Oconee RESA
is currently offering facilitated FIP Professional Learning Communities for
teachers, school and system leaders, and instructional coaches to support the
use of formative instructional practices.
This job-embedded professional learning will include the FIP Foundation
Modules:
- Introducing Formative Instructional Practices
- Creating and Using Clear Learning Targets
- Collecting and Documenting Evidence of Student Learning
- Using Evidence and Providing Effective Feedback to Increase Student Learning
- Fostering Student Ownership of Learning
Cohorts of educators will complete the online FIP modules independently, then participate in face-to-face sessions to confirm and extend their understanding and use of these practices. Educators will also engage in job-embedded work to use these practices in their own classrooms.
To apply for a school and/or system-level cohort, please complete the Oconee RESA Formative Instructional Practices(FIP) Professional Learning Communities Application. A minimum of 15 registrants is required to form a cohort. |
