In addition, please note the following presentation/topics:
(1) “Data Manipulation Tools To Drive Student Improvement”Using the IIS Data Analysis Tool (SLDS), participants will examine domain specific district and school data trends in order to determine strengths and deficit areas. This data can be compared to other formative assessments and used as instructional facilitators support teachers in developing lesson plans based on student needs. (2) “Instructional Facilitators’ Role in Supporting Teacher Data Use in Order to Increase Rigor in the Classrooms” Now that data has been analyzed, participants will determine how to best support teachers in the lesson planning process. Lesson activities, tasks, and assessments must be aligned to the DOK level of standards. Participants will use several examples of lesson plans in order to practice the process of ensuring alignment to the standards.
