In preparation for the administration
of Georgia Alternative Assessment (GAA), Oconee GLRS will be conducting a
series of 3 work sessions this year. During these sessions, participants
will be provided with clarification about the requirements of the portfolio
system and will gain further direction regarding the steps involved in the
development of portfolios that showcase the achievement and progress of
students with significant cognitive disabilities. Sessions will
be highly interactive and issue-focused training that will provide
participants with an objective, yet critical frame work for targeting
possible areas of weaknesses in data collection and in data
reporting. It will also provide guidance on ways to address possible
weaknesses, while providing feedback that is both formative and
constructive in manner.
