Dr. Kim Barham Gifted Recognition Award Notice

| Dr. Kim Perry Barham, Oconee RESA School Improvement Specialist, has been chosen to receive the Georgia Association for Gifted Children(GAGC) Leadership Award at the upcoming GAGC Conference for 2021. This award is presented to an individual who has made a significant difference to gifted education in his/her school, school district,or region to bring about change that results in improvement in gifted education. Prior to coming to Oconee RESA, Dr. Barham served as Assistant Superintendent in Twiggs County Public Schools as well as School Improvement Specialist in Dublin City Schools where she worked diligently to improve and enhance gifted education programs to better serve students. She continues to have a positive impact on gifted education in Georgia in her capacity as instructor in the Oconee RESA Gifted Endorsement for teachers desiring initial certification for gifted education. |
