Bio

Isaly, 64, is a retired educator who taught for more than 30 years in the Livingston School District, at both the high school and middle school levels. As a vocational and technology teacher, Isaly has attained a wealth of knowledge in multiple arenas. He served on many committees during his tenure and was actively involved in programs including Project-Based Learning, School to Work, World of Work, STEM/STEAM and Adult Education. He also served on the negotiations committee for the teachers union for 10 years, serving as chair or co-chair for 6 years.

Isaly was the TSA (Technology Student Association) club advisor, and started and advised the Academic Olympic Team for many years. He coached fastpitch softball for 14 years with the district and additionally coached community youth for many more. He served with the Livingston Baseball/Softball Association for 17 years, and was board chair for 5 of those years. Isaly also has worked on ranches, in the construction field, assisted in the operations of manufacturing businesses, and served as an adjunct professor of education at MSU.

Isaly and his wife Traci Jo, have raised three children, are the grandparents of six, and have lived at their home on Quinn Creek, located on Bozeman Pass in Park County, for 40 years. In his spare time, Isaly enjoys gardening, building, and time with his family as he embraces all that life has to offer.
