BioAfter serving in the United States Air Force for four years, I returned to earn a B.A. inphysics from Covenant College, in Dade County, Georgia. After graduation, I was employed by Horizon Electronics where I have continued to sell industrial electronics for the past 40 years. I met my wife, Linda, also a graduate of Covenant College. We have been married for over 40 years and have two sons, Matt who now lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ethan who lives in Durango, Colorado. We travel there often to visit our sons and four grandsons. During my career as a salesman for Horizon, I was elected to the Dade County Board of Commissioners for four years and served as Chairman for a year. I also served as Chairman of the Dade County GOP for several years. I am a member of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church and have previously served as both a deacon and an elder. Teaching children on Wednesday evening Kids' Club and serving in the Cub Scouts have been avenues for serving youth in the community. It was an honor to serve in the U. S. Navy Reserve for over 20 years. Now I am looking forward to serving the residents of Northwest Georgia, District One, in the State House.
