BioCHRIS BROADWATER is originally from St. Francisville, Louisiana and now lives in Hammond, Louisiana with his wife and three daughters. After law school, he was a partner in the Baton Rouge law firm of Jordan & Broadwater. In 2008, Chris accepted an appointment by Governor Jindal to serve as the Director of the Office of Workers Compensation. He also served as the legislative liaison for the Louisiana Workforce Commission, Executive Counsel to the Executive Director of the Louisiana Workforce Commission, Chairman of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Workers Compensation, Chairman of the Louisiana Second Injury Board and member of the Louisiana Property and Casualty Insurance Commission. Chris has extensive experience in governmental relations, policy development, workers' compensation and appellate practice. Education Louisiana State University, Paul M.
