Military- Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps and reserves.

Community Service- Boys and Girls Club and the Pregnancy Resource Center (a pro-life ministry) - Former board member; Rotary, Jaycees, N.C. Assoc. of REALTORS, various chambers of commerce, YMCA, Nat'l Rifle Assoc., American Legislative Exchange Council, and many other organizations - Former or current member; Also active in many other pro-business and conservative organizations.
