BioRep. Bruce Cozart of Hot Springs is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 24, which includes a portion of Garland County. During the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Cozart serves on the Education and the committee for City, County, and Local Affairs. During the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Cozart serves on the House Aging and Children and Youth Committee, along with the House Transportation Committee. Rep. Cozart owns Bruce Cozart Construction, Inc., where he is a general contractor for commercial and residential buildings. He is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School, and he is a former member of the Lake Hamilton School Board, where he served has president. Rep. Cozart has been involved with several civic and youth organizations in his district, including Habitat for Humanity. He was elected president of the Arkansas Home Builders Association and was a past president of the Hot Springs Home Builders Association. He is a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hot Springs. Rep. Cozart enjoys fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. He and his wife, Deborah, have two grown sons.
