Bio

Rep. Nikki T. Randall was born and raised in Macon Georgia, the youngest of five children born

to the Honorable William C. and Lauretta Fults Randall. She attended Bibb County Public

Schools and is a 1995 graduate of Tennessee State University in Nashville TN, where she

received a Bachelors’ of Business Administration degree, concentrating in marketing.

Ms Randall made history in 1999 by becoming the first African American female to be elected to

the Georgia General Assembly from Middle Georgia. She is presently the only female

representative in all of Middle Georgia and is Chairwoman of the Bibb County Legislative

Delegation.

Rep. Randall, a third generation elected official, serves on the Judiciary Non-Civil, Health &

Human Services, Ethics, and the powerful Rules Committee. After only 5 years of service she

was appointed chair of the Interstate Cooperation committee making her the youngest serving

committee chair ever appointed. She has served in other leadership positions in the house

including Secretary and Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus, and was named Legislator

of the year in 2001.

Rep. Randall’s legislative affiliations include- Legislative Women’s Caucus, Georgia’s WIN List,

Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, NOBEL Women, and the National Black Caucus of State

Legislators Health Round Table.

Representative Randall has served in many professional capacities, some of which include

Marketing and Public Relations Director, Associated Enterprises; Assistant Human Resources

Director, Georgia Music Hall of Fame; Employment Services Case Manager, Bibb County

DFACS; Assistant Legislative Director, Georgia Nursing Home Association; Regional Field

Coordinator, Barnes for Governor Campaign (1998); Regional Director, Democratic Party of

Georgia, and Regional Marketing/Community Relations Director, UHS-Pruitt Corporation. She is

currently a Governmental/Community Affairs consultant and pursuing a Masters of Public Health

at Mercer University School of Medicine.

Ms. Randall is a distinguished alumnus of Leadership Macon (1998) & Leadership Georgia

(2004). Bibb County Democratic Women, Bibb County Democratic Executive Committee,

Women’s Political Organization; Democratic Party of Georgia State Committee, and Alpha

Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Randall is member of the Beulahland Bible Church, where she works with the single’s ministry,

Women of Worship ministry and sings in the Women’s choir.

When she is not working she enjoys reading, mentoring rising political leaders, and volunteering

with senior and youth organizations
