Bill Brawley Has Served-

The Republican Party as a Member-

Bill joined the Young Republicans in 1968 and was a GA State YR Convention Delegate.

Bill joined the Mecklenburg GOP Party in 1972, the UNCC CR Club in 1974.

Bill was a delegate to the NC State GOP Convention for the first time in 1977 and has served as a precinct officer, a county delegate, district delegate, and delegate to state GOP conventions numerous times since; he has also been the convention secretary for the Ninth District Convention.

Two Terms on the Matthews Town Council

11 Years on the Mecklenburg Park Commission representing the Southern Towns.

The Citizens Blue Ribbon Commission on County Governance, which drew a plan for the County Commission, approved by the voters in 1992, and changed by the Democrats in Raleigh in 1993.

In the US Army, enlisted in August 1969, served on active duty from October 1969 until August 1972. Honorably discharged August 1975.
