BioRepresentative Matt Lynch was appointed to his first term in the Ohio House in April. He represents the 98th Ohio House District—which includes all of Geauga County—and serves on the Criminal Justice Committee, the Economic and Small Business Development Committee, and the Judiciary and Ethics Committee.In 2007, Lynch was elected to the Bainbridge Township Board of Trustees and was appointed chairman during his first term. Throughout his tenure as a trustee he worked to streamline local government and reduce taxes, and one of his proudest accomplishments was the creation of the “Veterans Memorial Park” to honor those who sacrificed for our freedom. Lynch has practiced law for more than 30 years with his family law firm in Bainbridge Township. He has appeared in various courts from Sandusky to Chardon, including the Ohio Supreme Court. Lynch is an active member of Fellowship Bible Church in Bainbridge Township and spends his spare time with his wife, Laura, and their seven grandchildren.
