Bio

Rep. Joseph Scott Baltz is serving his first term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 61, which includes portions of Baxter, Sharp, Randolph and Fulton counties.

During the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Baltz will serve on the Public Transportation Committee and the City, County, and Local Affairs Committee.

Rep. Baltz is the fire chief for the city of Pocahontas. He previously served at Justice of the Peace in Randloph County. He serves on the board for the Randolph County Hospital. In his spare time, he likes to hunting, farming, and spending time with his grandchildren.
