BioRep. Stephen Meeks of Greenbrier is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 67, which includes Faulkner county. During the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Meeks serves on the Revenue and Taxation committee. Meeks serves on the committee of Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development. He also is apart of the Joint Budget Committee. During the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Meeks served on Legislative Joint Auditing Committee, the House Revenue and Taxation Committee, and the House Committee for Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development. Rep. Meeks graduated from Greenbrier High School and Florida Community College at Jacksonville. He was president of the Northeast Florida Astronomical Society, and was on the Dean's List and President's List. A veteran, Rep. Meeks works as a computer technician. His interests include astronomy, space flight, and computer technology. Rep. Meeks and his wife, Jennifer are Baptist. They have one daughter.
